Flux-cored welding wire that is self-shielded and open arc, which produces a crack-free deposit and is highly resistant to impact, metal-to-metal wear, and abrasion. The wire has a typical hardness of 48-52 HRc.
This wire has several unique features, including excellent resistance against impact stress and medium abrasion, the ability to produce crack-free deposits for multiple layers, excellent resistance to tempering and good crack resistance, as well as excellent weldability and slag detachability.
This type of wire is commonly used in hard facing applications for various components such as crusher cylinders, hammers, and mantels, agricultural tools, asphalt mixer blades, shovel bucket teeth and lips, bulldozer blades, cane knives and shredders, gyratory crusher mantles, bed knives, and anvils in the wood pulp industry. It is also suitable for hard surfacing wire drawing drums in the steel industry.
